Is the aura an image of the bioelectric field that you can see feel, have control over? Or is it just a bizarre figment of your imagination?

And what is it? You didn't even suppose/thought you had one? Not surprisingly, for most people the aura is invisible...if it exists at all. Those who believe in its existence claim that it is a kind of elecromagnetic or bioelectric field surrounding every living organism. According to proponents of the existence of the aura, its color or otherwise power can reflect one's personality, mood or state of health. There is no scientific evidence unequivocally confirming or denying the aura. But it seems that the group of people who believe in the existence of the aura is slowly growing. The most commonly cited evidence for its existence is the Kirlian experiment and a photograph of the aura itself. However, any conclusions drawn from such photographs are still an open question.


On How To See and Read the Aura,( How to See and Read the Aura) Dr. Tom J. Chalko maintains a fairly comprehensive website. Through it, he explains that one can learn to consciously influence the human bioelectric field, or in other words, one's aura through meditation and concentration exercises. According to Dr. Chalko, in this way - by controlling the aura - one can influence the body's self-healing process. In another tab of the website, Dr. Chalko presents examples of bioelectrography (which is very reminiscent of Kirlian photography). According to him, it shows the "intelligent and coherent exchange of electrical information" from which life is built.

There are websites of small companies offering to photograph a client's aura for a fee (known as aura imaging - "aura imagining" using a special camera. One such company is Aura Imagining (link does not work). According to the company, their camera works on the level of the chakras, and the picture would have to be taken two or three times a year. This is probably due to the fact that they paid dearly for their camera, in addition to the fact that on their website they offer models for sale for only ten thousand dollars apiece. Their photos are not Kirlian photographs, but they show a portrait of the photographed person surrounded by a rainbow cloud. True Kirlian photographs are created without the use of a camera. However, even Dr. Chalko, in broadcasts and programs, strongly questions the reliability of the aura cameras mentioned above. Dr. Chalko claims that they will take a picture of the aura even if the person who is supposed to produce it is not in the picture.

A company called Auras and Energy ("Auras and Energy") does a color analysis of the aura, explaining the meaning of each color. The company will also advise on how to sense one's own aura using one's (previously sensitized) hands, and how to cleanse one's energy field using salt, water, baking soda and Epsom salt. Why so much fuss? On his page "The Importance of a Healthy Aura," Dr. Dee explains that "the aura is the simplest and most effective way to draw and accumulate energy, which can then be used." On the site provided, you can also find information on how to heal your own aura through proper nutrition or some kind of laser therapy.

Very often on various online forums, people describe their dreams with a request for interpretation. Then usually appear "experts" , who have learned particular meanings from websites, and interpret a particular vision.

Unfortunately, this is completely worthless. Just like all other Internet tests, such as "check what you are afraid of", "what life position you are in", etc.

Why is it worthless? Well, a given thing is associated by each person with something different. That is what is beautiful in this world, that we are so diverse.  For example, read for yourself the interpretation of dreams about spiders.

Here is one of them: "A dream about a spider signifies a sense of entrapment, lack of prospects; a tragic situation. Spiders are also synonymous with female power or a domineering mother influencing your life."
And indeed, this interpretation did not come from nowhere. It will suit more than half of people. However, there will be a sizable group of people to whom this interpretation will completely not fit. Most of us associate spiders with bad things. We do not like these animals, they arouse disgust in us. However, most are not all. There are, after all, breeders of spiders who make a living selling them. Since there are breeders, there are also those who buy these spiders. They also love these animals. They associate them positively. For a breeder, a dream about 20 large spiders will mean money. For someone who loves these animals - something nice, a likely happy event. For a person with arachnophobia, hidden fears that make life difficult and come to the surface. Already with this simple example we can see that the interpretation of dreams should be made only in relation to the person in question. Analyzing a dream when one knows nothing about someone is meaningless. In order to read a dream properly, the dreamer has to tell about his fears, desires, sometimes about childhood situations that made a mark on him. What's more, sometimes even this, may not be enough for us to interpret correctly, because many events we do not remember, while our subconscious still stores them.

In conclusion, the person interpreting the dream must have empathy. After giving her information about herself, she must empathize with the person who had the dream. Only then can the right meaning be selected. Of course, the one having the vision also has to give all the information the interpreter asks. Otherwise there is no point in cooperation. Giving the wrong information results in a warped analysis of the dream.
